Split PDF without installing software

Practical example
Extract a cover and two supporting pages

- Enter 1, 4-5 in Pages to extract.
- Download the result and inspect the printed ORIGINAL PAGE labels.
The new PDF contains 3 pages: original pages 1, 4, and 5, in that order.
Capabilities and limits
- Repeated page numbers are deduplicated. A range must run forward and stay within the source's page count.
- A blank field keeps all pages; it does not produce an empty PDF.
When the result is unexpected
The wrong printed page was extracted
Use the page's physical position in the PDF, not its chapter numbering or a printed label.
I need to duplicate or visually reorder pages
Use the visual Organize workspace for order changes. This field is a selection list, not a document layout editor.
Check the downloaded file
Verify both the output count and each retained page's heading. A smaller file can still contain information you did not intend to share.
