Review an extracted schedule
- Convert a small text-based schedule.
- Open the PDF text worksheet and check whether lines occupy one column or several.
- Use your spreadsheet application's split-text tools when needed, then review dates and amounts before calculating totals.
The workbook contains extracted text rows. Tab-separated text may become separate cells; visual column positions alone are not enough to reconstruct a table.
Capabilities and limits
- Scans need OCR first, and OCR errors carry into the spreadsheet.
- Merged cells, row spanning, charts, formulas, and table borders are not reconstructed. Numbers may remain text.
When the result is unexpected
Everything appears in one column
That can be the correct result of line extraction. Split text deliberately and check every new column rather than assuming the converter recognized a table.
The total is wrong
Look for text-formatted numbers, missing rows, thousands separators, and OCR substitutions. Compare with the original before changing formulas.
Check the downloaded file
Validate row count and totals manually. Do not use an unchecked conversion for accounting, measurements, or other important decisions.
